"Ski The Fish!" at Whitefish Mountain Resort.

With chair lifts running from 9am - 4pm, 7 days a week, all winter long, Whitefish Mountain Resort (or "Big Mountain" as its fondly referred to in local lingo) is your Flathead Valley ski destination. Shred 3,000 square acres of powder, across runs designed to stoke all skill-levels! Gear rentals, outfitting shops and restaurants are located in The Village at Whitefish Mountain Resort.

NIGHT SKIING-During winter’s peak, when the towering Northern Rockies loom snowcapped at the edge of Flathead Valley, Whitefish Mountain Resort opens select runs for night skiing.

 

Night skiing runs from from 4:30 to 8:30pm every Friday and Saturday from January 6th-March 4th. Disembark from Chair 2 and watch the sun set on the valley below and cruise the slopes set aglow. Over at Chair 3, illuminated rails and jumps will have terrain park lovers seeing winter through rose-colored goggles.

Snowbus

Take the pressure off the parking situation. The legendary WMR Snowbus is swooping skiers up to the slopes and back all winter long. The Snowbus is mountain-bound hourly, from convenient bus stops throughout Whitefish. Get the Snowbus schedule at https://skiwhitefish.com/snowbus/

Tickets

Parking

ON-MOUNTAIN MEDICAL CARE

Fear not, in the event of a wipeout or crash that requires medical care. Whitefish Mountain Resort's on-site emergency medical staff is ready to assist the injured.

Open daily 10am – 5pm, during ski season, Logan Health Walk-In Care Clinic is located next to the Base Lodge near the bottom of Chair 9.

 

The clinic is staffed by Board Certified Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and offers walk-in care. Medical services include diagnosis and treatment of fractures, sprains and lacerations. Digital X-Ray and CLIA Certified Lab is on site and many insurance plans are accepted.

SKI & SNOWBOARD RENTALS

Whitefish Mountain Resort has 2 designated Rossignol Experience Centers, each with a vast rental fleet of skis and boards from high-end brands including Atomic, Black Crow, Blizzard, Solomon and Volkl. You'll find one rental shop on the second floor of the Base Lodge and the other on the Village boardwalk. On-mountain rental convenience allows equipment replacements, adjustments, or modifications to be made on-the-fly to get you back slopeside in a jiffy.

Skip the rental shop line and make a bee-line for the chair lift! Whitefish has 2 ski/gear delivery services, that bring everything you need right to your lodge so you can maximize mountain time.

SKI & SNOWBOARD LESSONS

Whitefish Mountain Resort offers private or group ski/snowboard lessons for adults and children (as young as 3). Prepare for your maiden ski voyage on the bunny hill, by booking a lesson with a WMR qualified instructor. For detail, visit https://skiwhitefish.com/lessons/

RESORT TERRAIN MAP

You’ve meticulously planned your Montana vacation thus far, so don’t ski those runs at random! Pick up a terrain map in the WMR Village before you ride and plan every downhill dash according to your skill level. Ski smarter not harder! Plus, you can even head down to the bottom floor of The Tamrack to check out the mounted terrain map in the ski locker room. Have fun out ther!

Summit House Cafe

Boarders and skiers can finally agree on something: the Summit House Cafe is king of the mountain for satisfying hunger. The famous mountaintop grill is serving up burgers, gravy fries and pizza along with the best view of the valley a diner could dream of.

Base Lodge Kitchen

Regroup, relax, rehydrate and refuel fireside, with comfort food favorites like pretzels, hot dogs and fresh salads from the Base Lodge Kitchen.

Night-skiing is a fun but chilly affair. Luckily, the grill sizzles at Ed
